De Grendel Pinot Noir is made from grapes grown on the Graaff family farm high up in the Witzenberg mountains on the Ceres Plateau and received Top 100 SA Wines status in 2013.
With garnet and bright gem-like translucence in the glass and berries, cherries and forest pine notes on the nose it is a richly flavoured, juicy wine, with gentle tannins.
This Pinot Noir has a light, bright red ruby hue and the nose is filled with luscious red cherry, blackberry and pine needle notes that carry through on the palate with a long velvety finish, balanced with well-structured freshness.
